Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Neighborhood Fishin’ program is gearing up for another exciting year! This popular program provides fishing opportunities at 17 urban-area lakes throughout Texas. Texas Parks and Wildlife fisheries biologists will stock catfish in these lakes starting on April 24th and continue through November when they’ll switch to stocking trout. This program is made possible thanks to funding from the Toyota Texas Bass Classic, Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, and many local sponsors.
