Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation is raising awareness and encouraging all Texans to get involved in conserving the wild things and wild places of our state.

"We Will Not Be Tamed” calls you to appreciate the wildness of Texas, the vastness of our Texas spirit and why we should be inspired to conserve it.

TPWF is thrilled that a group of incredible Texan outdoorsmen and women are standing with us to tell their stories. We’re calling them The Untamed, and Matt Morris is one of them. Matt grew up in El Paso and credits the Franklin Mountains for restoring his health after a devastating diagnosis. He is an avid trail runner and yoga instructor, and both have helped him connect even more to the mountains he loves.

TPWF has partnered with Trailblazing Texas companies that share our passion for the outdoors to bring you a one-of-a-kind sweepstakes. On March 1, Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and our partners celebrated the launch of We Will Not Be Tamed at Texas Whiskey Ranch in Fort Worth.

The Untamed, a group of Texas outdoorsmen and women, were featured at the event, along with our partner Texas Monthly. Throughout 2018, Texas Monthly will be telling the stories of The Untamed online and in the pages of the magazine. Our ambassadors will also be featured in a series of billboards scattered across Texas. Social media, podcasts and video features will help spread their inspiring stories.

A good time was had by all at the Whiskey Ranch premiere, and there will be more exciting events scheduled in the weeks and months to come. Stay tuned!
