Owen Temple can be described in many ways. Musician. Family man. Land Steward.
He’s also the father of four, and lives with his wife and children in Austin. The family spends a lot of time outdoors, and they love to visit Texas State Parks.
“We’ve spent time at parks all over Texas, and have made some great family memories,” said Owen. “We love camping at Lost Maples and Garner, fishing at Bastrop and spending time on the beach at Mustang Island. We make a circuit every year.”
Owen’s love for the outdoors led to his decision to become a member of Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF).
“The time we spend in Texas State Parks has been transformative for our family,” said Owen. “I was looking for ways to support parks and all the work Texas Parks and Wildlife Department does to conserve Texas. Being a member of Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation is one way we can help.”
TPWF’s work to conserve and protect the wild things and wild places of our state is as important as ever, and support from our members makes it possible.
When you become a member of TPWF, you will join Owen in the effort to ensure Texas’ wildlife, habitat and natural resources are enjoyed tomorrow and for generations to come.
Will you join us to ensure future of Texas’ wild things and wild places?
P.S. If you join or renew your membership with TPWF before June 9, you will be entered into a TPWF drawing* for a chance to win a coveted slot in a Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 photo workshop of your choice with We Will Not Be Tamed Ambassador Hector Astorga!
*The price of membership pays for TPWF membership only and not for the chance to win the photo workshop slot. Members who join or renew between January 1 through June 9, 2020 are automatically entered in the drawing.
