Leaving a Wild Legacy

A Planned Giving Newsletter from Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation

JAN 2023

In this issue of our Planned Giving newsletter, we share what the new Secure 2.0 legislation means for your retirement plan, and how with just a few simple steps, you can establish a beneficiary designation to support our wild things and wild places for generations to come.

I hope you also enjoy learning about how Ray Garcia is supporting the future of our wildlife and their natural habitat through a planned gift to Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF). According to Ray, “I recently became a great granduncle, and I want my great grandnephew and all children to have access to the kind of natural places I have enjoyed during my lifetime."

Thank you for your continued support,

Join Us to Celebrate 100 Years of Texas State Parks!

2023 marks 100 years of Texas State Parks, and park lovers are invited to get outside and join celebrations across the state. As the official nonprofit partner of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), TPWF encourages all Texans to celebrate this 100-year milestone with exciting events planned at all 89 state parks throughout the year. Our Texas neighbors at H-E-B are also joining in on the fun as the presenting sponsor of the Centennial Celebration, donating $1 million to help engage and encourage all Texans to discover and explore their parks.

Visit TexasStateParks.org/100years to stay in-the-know about upcoming celebrations at parks closest to your home or heart.
